Dallas Bluebonnets Boasting - 1965

Bluebonnets putting on a show in Dallas, 1965ish. Preston Hollow for the Dallas folks. It looked a bit different back then. My mother is there in the middle on her quarter horse, Domino. She rode barrels on him, and it looks like she traded her saddle and white boots for bare back and keds. That's my grandfather in one of his famous jumpsuits needing to let his stirrups down on their Apaloosa stud, Thunder. Oh, and he still wears that elastic gold watch all these years later. And my mother's friend, Chrissy, on her horse, Sunny. She was and still is one of my mom's best gal pals. They still get together today for trail rides. #cowgirlsforlife
